Wallace Spearmon Jr., JUNK Sponsored Athlete

Wallace Spearmon Jr.

is a man with with a heck of a need for speed,

and he isn't afraid to show it. Wallace excelled at every sport he tried his hand at, even getting offers to play football in college, but he knew that track and field would be his calling. More specifically, sprinting.

Wallace attended the University of Arkansas where he competed for two years before deciding to go pro. But before he left he made sure to leave his mark, scooping up two NCAA Outdoor titles and an NCAA Indoor title during his time there. Since then Wallace has gone on to win the silver medal once and the bronze medal twice at the World Championships in Athletics. He also holds the ninth spot for the fastest 200-meter runners of all time. Wallace finished third at the 2008 Summer Olympics but was later disqualified for stepping out of his lane.

Now Wallace is aiming to qualify for the 2020 Olympics and trains with that goal in mind. He also volunteers as an assistant coach for the University of Arkansas women's track team and a junior relays coach for Team USA. When he isn't training Wallace is spending time with family and friends, and making a little extra time to fit in some of his favorite video games.
