We got a chance to ask Christine Kole, a JUNK athlete and pro CrossFitter, how she keeps up with her mental health while also working towards her athletic goals. Here's what she had to say!
December, the holiday season, a time for the things that are the most important in life. Things like family, tradition, and of course FOOD! And this December the team at JUNK wanted to be able to share something with everyone, which is why our employees and athletes have come together to curate a list of their favorite holiday dishes.

I think it’s so important to have treats, especially around the holidays! Cinnamon rolls are my favorite dessert, so I wanted to create a recipe that would fuel my performance and keep me feeling my best. It took some experimenting, but I finally created a recipe that tasted AMAZING too! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Melt butter, sugar, and honey in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil then turn down the heat to medium/low and let simmer until it becomes a rich amber color then remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. In a separate big bowl mix together rolled oats, dried fruit, and nuts. Pour caramel mixture over oats and mix with spatula until well coated. Press granola into a parchment lined baking sheet.
