Global Running Day is a worldwide celebration of running that is held annually every first Wednesday in June. This year it falls on June 3rd. The goal for the day is to send a message of unity and positivity when it comes to getting active in the hopes that people will be more willing to get up and get moving. By everyone coming together in the name of fitness this will help set the tone for future generations and get young people excited about having an active lifestyle.
While in person events may be on pause we can all individually participate by running a mile on June 3rd for Global Running Day and encourage those that are close to us to do the same. No matter where you take your run you'll run knowing that you're part of the global effort to promote physical wellness and strengthen community.
