We’re bringing you a round-up of industry news, movement encouragement, and seasonal headband options. This month we’ve got tidbits about nature, stress awareness month, hiking in JUNK headbands, and Superhero Day.
Nature
April holds Earth Day and Arbor Day. We love the outdoors. We love that it’s prime hiking and camping weather. It’s a great month for getting outside, taking off your shoes, and combing your toes through that fresh green grass. There are some other great ways you can celebrate Earth Day all month and into May.
Whether you are a hobby hiker, biking more often to prep for Bike Fest, or just getting out into nature more, make sure you leave no trace and even leave the nature you’re out appreciating better than you found it!
Stress Awareness Month
JUNK loves the holistic approach to health through mind, body, and soul. Stress can impact all three, and when any of them are affected, it can set you on a cycle that's hard to break out of. It’s important to recognize the things that are causing you stress and address them.
Be kind to yourself and others and establish a habit of addressing stress before it takes you over.
Ways to work out stress:
- Go for a walk
- Journal/Practice Gratitude
- Practice a hobby (Read, Paint, Play an Instrument, color!)
- Stand in a power pose
- Say no or cut down on your commitments
- Call a friend
Hiking in JUNK headbands
